Surabaya Introduction

Surabaya is Indonesia's second-largest city, and the capital of the province of East Java. It is located on the northern shore of eastern Java at the mouth of the Mas River and along the edge of the Madura Strait.

Also called the City of Hero for its crucial and heroic role in the Indonesia's independence war, remembered by Heroes Monument. Surabaya is home to more than 8 million people. Surabaya is a booming city of over 3 million, offering many good hotels, shopping centers and entertainment.
